I. Product introduction 

The ORO (L2F) Dielectric Loss and Resistivity Tester is a high-precision integrated testing instrument designed and manufactured in accordance with the GB/T 5654-2007 standard "Measurement of Relative Permittivity, Dielectric Loss Factor and DC Resistivity of Liquid Insulating Materials." It is primarily used for measuring the dielectric loss factor and DC resistivity of liquid insulating media, such as insulating oil. The instrument integrates key components—including a dielectric loss oil cup, temperature controller, temperature sensor, dielectric loss testing bridge, AC test power supply, standard capacitor, high-resistance meter, and DC high-voltage source—into a single unit. Utilizing advanced measurement and control technologies, the device automatically performs all operational steps, including temperature ramping, temperature control, high-speed data sampling, data processing, display, printing, and data storage. Its sophisticated measurement principles and highly digitalized technology make your testing tasks easier and more convenient.

This instrument employs full digital technology and features fully intelligent automated measurement capabilities. It is equipped with a large color touchscreen and a comprehensive Chinese-language menu, with Chinese instructional prompts provided for each step. Test results can be printed out, making it easy for operators to use proficiently without requiring specialized training.


Ⅱ.Functional Features

◆ High automation: heating, dielectric loss measurement, and resistivity measurement can all be completed in a single operation.

◆ The oil cup employs a three-electrode configuration compliant with the Chinese national standard GB/T5654-2007, with an inter-electrode distance of 2 mm, which eliminates the influence of stray capacitance and leakage current on the dielectric loss tangent test results.

◆ The instrument employs intermediate-frequency induction heating technology combined with a PID temperature control algorithm. This heating method offers advantages such as non-contact operation between the oil cup and the heating element, uniform heating distribution, high heating speed, and user-friendly control, ensuring that the temperature is strictly maintained within the preset temperature tolerance range.

◆ Utilizes advanced DSP and FFT technologies to ensure stable, accurate, and reliable data.

◆ The internal standard capacitor is an SF6-filled three-terminal capacitor; its dielectric loss and capacitance are not affected by environmental factors such as temperature or humidity, ensuring that the instrument's accuracy remains guaranteed even after prolonged use.

◆ Large color touchscreen with Chinese operation menus – facilitates seamless communication and features a simple, intuitive interface that is easy to understand at a glance.

◆ Equipped with safety alerts – such as a high-voltage cutoff upon lid opening and a low/high-voltage electrode short-circuit warning – to eliminate potential hazards and ensure the personal safety of operators as well as the normal operation of the equipment.

◆ Equipped with a built-in real-time clock; test dates and times can be saved, displayed, or printed according to the test results; the device displays the ambient temperature and performs real-time monitoring of the test environment.

◆ Automatically stores measurement data; supports up to 100 measurement data sets.

◆ Empty electrode cup calibration function: Measures the capacitance and dielectric loss factor of the empty electrode cup to assess its cleaning and assembly status. The calibration data is automatically saved, facilitating the precise calculation of the relative permittivity and DC resistivity.
